The way the mango wood slats curve and overlap really does look like a wave in motion—it’s a striking centerpiece even when the light is off. Once lit, the shadows it throws on the ceiling add a whole other layer of depth I wasn’t expecting.

I was a little worried the light would feel too bulky for my dining nook, but the open slats keep it airy and the way each wood piece curves at a slightly different angle makes it catch the light beautifully from every seat at the table.

The mango wood slats really do look like they’re frozen mid-wave; the light filters through them in a way that makes the whole room feel softer. I keep catching myself staring up at it instead of the TV.
