The faux rattan drum shades give off that coastal vibe, but what surprised me is how easily they fit into my modern living room—the woven pattern adds just the right amount of texture without feeling kitschy.

The woven pattern is so tightly structured that it reads almost architectural, which means it blends into my modern living room without feeling too beachy. It took me a while to find a coastal piece that didn't scream nautical, and this one nails that balance.

The woven drum shades have this relaxed coastal feel, but the pattern is structured enough that it doesn't clash with my mid-century furniture. It's brighter and airier than I expected for something so large.
