The glaze has this lovely matte, sandy texture that catches light differently from every angle—exactly the rustic-minimal balance I was hoping for. It arrived well-packed and the hand-formed shape feels sturdy, not fragile like some ceramics I've bought online.
It’s a nice little piece, though the hand-finishing leaves some visible unevenness around the rim that I didn’t expect. The sand-colored glaze looks great on my counter, but for the price I’d have liked a slightly smoother surface. Still, it does the job as a simple spoon rest.
