Hung this over our dining table and the light it throws through the capiz strips is so warm, not harsh at all. Took my husband about an hour to assemble and hang, but the tiered drum shape looks way more expensive than what we paid.
The strips of Capiz shell catch the light in a way that makes the whole room feel calmer, almost like soft ocean glow. The drum shape is more airy than I expected, so it doesn't overwhelm the dining table. Takes a while to clean each strip, but honestly worth it for the look.
The capiz strips give off a lovely warm glow once the lights are on, way softer than the metal fixture I had before. Only gripe is the assembly took me close to an hour.
