We hung this in our dining room and the pyramidal rods catch the light in a way that makes the whole ceiling feel taller. The unadorned ring keeps it from overpowering the space, but it still makes a statement. Eight bulbs is plenty for a large table.
The pyramidal rod layout gives it this clean, almost sculptural look that totally anchors the dining room. I was a little worried the open ring design would feel flimsy, but it's genuinely substantial and the 8 lights cast a beautiful, even glow.
The rods feel rock-solid once installed, and that big ring really anchors the room without looking bulky. It took a bit of patience to center it, but the clean pyramidal lines were exactly what our dining space needed.
