The cinched rope details catch the light in a way that makes the whole dining room feel warmer at night. I was worried the patinaed brass would look too antique, but against the natural rope it’s the perfect modern contrast.

The rope-and-brass combo looked stunning in photos but is even better in person—the patinaed finish catches the light beautifully. It took a bit to hang, but the cinched details really give it that subtle mid-century drama I was hoping for.

The mixed finish of the rope against the brass is what sold me, and it does look even better in person once hung. Took a bit longer to assemble than I’d planned, but the patinaed details give off that subtle dramatic vibe I was after.
