Suspension Dôme Oignon en Cuivre

The onion dome shape is what sold me, and in person the oxidized copper has this dull, almost greenish patina that looks way more expensive than it cost. It throws a warm pool of light over my kitchen island without being harsh. Only took me about twenty minutes to wire up.

I hung this in my foyer and the hand-applied oxidized copper finish catches the afternoon light in a way that looks way pricier than it was. The painted texture has a subtle unevenness that reads as genuinely artisanal rather than factory-made. It's the little organic accent my entryway was missing.

The onion dome silhouette is such a conversation starter in my entryway—guests always stop to ask about it. The painted oxidized copper looks even richer in person, with subtle variations that make it feel like a one-of-a-kind piece.
