I hung two of these over my kitchen island and the curved dome shape really softens the look compared to the boxy fixtures I had before. The metal feels genuinely substantial, not flimsy at all, and they throw a nice even light for the price.
The all-metal build is what sold me — it feels solid and not flimsy like the hollow ones I looked at. Hung two over the island and the curved dome spreads light nicely without glaring.
Wasn't sure a dome shape would work over the island, but the curved silhouette keeps it from looking bulky. It hangs solid and the metal has a nice heft without feeling heavy overhead.
